The Ford Escape has been a great fit for me in all aspects of my life. Having driven an Explorer before I was worried I would miss the size of my old vehicle but in fact it is the opposite. The Escape has seen me through two moves and I was able to fit everything that I needed to each time. It has also been great to take on road trips or any time I need to pick up something at the store. At the same time, being a small SUV, I have been able to take it into the city with ease and never have trouble parking it. It gets great gas mileage as well. It is stylish for an SUV and the interior materials are durable. It has held up well and I have not any problems with the structure or the mechanics. Story
I took my Escape camping and it ended up pouring rain. Since it was muddy out, I ended up flipping down the seats and sleeping in the car! It worked for the night.

Surprising amount of storage Handles well in the snow Durable Materials Great size for taking into the city

Cup holders are difficult to use while driving the backseat does not fold entirely flat to create a larger bed

After owning the Escape for a number of years, I have been quite satisfied. All repairs have been normal wear and tear, with the exception of a recall I was reimbursed for with no trouble whatsoever.
Story
My car has the name Princess Sparkle, and everyone knows 'her' as such.
Pros
It has good gas mileage for an SUV. Interior is quiet. Seats fold down easily to transport larger items. Interior is pleasing to the eye and offers a lot of leg room for taller individuals. Child safety locks on rear doors and windows are an insightful addition.
Cons
Back wheel wells are beginning to rust slightly. Rear Window washer blade feel off and is not worth the expense to fit. The front windshield wipers are expensive and only one type fit the vehicle.
