Great vehicle for road warrior
The reliability of the Ford Escape is excellent. This is my third Ford Escape. My last escape was a hybrid and I had over 235,000 miles on it when I bought this one. I travel around 400 miles 3 to 4 days per week. The cargo area is also exceptional. I have 6 dogs, and although I have not attempted all 6 of them at once, I have transported 4 at the same time. I usually have the seats down because I love to garden and put tons of plants in the cargo area. The only real drawback is the mpg. I loved my hybrid's 28 mpg. This car was supposed to get the same but I can only get around 23 mpg, so I am not so happy about that. I wish they still made the hybrid. This one does have quite a bit more get up and go however. I would get an Escape again in a minute- although better gas mileage would be preferred!

Amazing vehicle in not only quality but price
Wonderful vehicle. It was brand new off the lot and I have had zero problems with it. The gas mileage is amazing and it has eco boost which makes it even better since we vacation a lot. Most of our treks are a couple thousand miles round trip and the gas price to travel that distance is far less than any vehicle I have ever owned. The oil usage is great and I must say that for a "bigger" vehicle, it drives and parks like a small car. All the mirrors are useful and I can weave in and out of traffic with ease and feel safe while driving whereas my older vehicle, which was twice as big, was very hard to drive and especially park. Performance so far has been great. We are about 15,000 miles in within the last full year or so. No hiccups with the vehicle at all and have kept up with oil changes and regular maintenance. Literally nothing has stopped working or broke with heavy usage and travel across various terrain. The only thing I would say that I dislike about it, is that the oil it takes is a special kind and sometimes places during travel will argue to use another kind in it and say it is ok, but we always have to MAKE them use the right oil.
