Chevy 2003 Impala is a very spacious car with lots of room, a huge trunk, a quiet engine and lots of power. This is definitely a luxury car of your dreams, if you're from 2003. The car itself has a ton of nice features, and with these features, some were implemented to be innovative and they do not do the car any justice, in fact a lot of features end up hurting the car. With regular maintenance, the car hit 120,000 miles with little to no problems. After the car starts hitting higher miles, that's where the real problems start. It is a known issue that this particular model has problems with the gaskets cracking and the car overheating uncontrollably. Well, this happening is almost unavoidable in the car and you're considered lucky if it never happens, but if it does, it is a very exp... (more)
Story
One fun memory is pick up all of my friends, 6 in total, 7 including me, going to a baseball game and overall having a great time, then coming back and being surprised that we comfortably fit that many people into my car.
Pros
The car is luxurious. It runs quiet. The cooling and heating system works fantastic. Plenty of trunk space. Built in sound system is better than average.
Cons
Known issues with overheating after long time of use. Electronics do not always accurately show. The big design of the car makes lowers visibility. The big design of the car makes it harder for shorter people to ride and may require a seat boost. The pedals can be hard to reach with short feet. Requires higher grade of gas. Poor mpg.

This car was purchased after my first vehicle died. I was in desperate need of a car for my family of two, found this one available through a local dealer, and jumped on it. The first time I laid eyes on her, I knew she was going to be a great car. Since then (approximately five years now), she's taken me half-way across the country three times and moved me and my family from the Midwest to the East Coast.
Story
I was able to pack an entire Mongolian yurt into the car. The massive tent folds up into a long cylinder, about 14 ft. Long and 5 ft. Around. Lowering the back seat and nestling the end against the dash meant that the trunk would just close.
Pros
The car was known for it's dependability and fuel economy, both of which I have witnessed first-hand. I discovered, however, that the cabin and trunk are remarkably spacious, and even fully loaded, this vehicle can handle very well at highway speeds, even over hilly terrain.
Cons
The car has a tendency to need babying. One must stick to the recommended maintenance schedule or things start to go bad quickly. She's also run better on high-mileage products, despite not being driven all that often. There's also a very noticeable issue with servicing the fluids and other minor things that an owner should be able to handle on a weekly, monthly, or semi-annual basis.
