Chevy 1500 has been a solid truck
My Chevy 1500 Silverado Z71, though used, has been a very solid truck. It has very little rust, even though it is 12 years old. I haven't had a single mechanical issue. The four-wheel drive has always worked well. It has features that I didn't know that I would want, such as heated seats and backs on the seats. The gas mileage isn't as good as a car, but it has been about 14 to 16 miles per gallon. There is plenty of power in the truck, which has been helpful carrying things. Also, the ability to load the truck with many items, especially long ones, has been great. The liner in the bed is fantastic, and keeps it from getting damaged. The doors are sturdy, and help me getting onto the side rails. The seats are made of leather and keep things from getting wet and are easy to clean. Having second doors helps and gives us the room we need to load other passengers. The ability to add top rails and a tonnoeau cover has helped with tasks. Turning capabilities are great, as well, and despite being a large truck, it is nimble and can get out of it's own way. Lastly, there is plenty of height to the truck which helps with the winter snow where I live.

Reliable, fun truck
My truck is a great ride. It has plenty of power but also gets very good fuel mileage for a heavy truck. The interior is very clean and comfortable. It has four-wheel drive, so I never have to worry about getting stuck in the snow. I am able to perform all of the service tasks by myself. It's very reliable. From time to time, I have received comments about how it looks from others. I feel safe when I drive it. I can choose to drive it to work or the local dump to throw out trash. Surprise purchases are never a problem either. You can fit a Fridge or couch in the back. The rear end is a 3:42 axle ratio, so driving on the highway is a breeze. Chevy Trucks don't seem to rust out either. There are a few chips in the paint down to the metal, and no rust is preset. It was formed with quality steel from Canada. You can pull a trailer or camper with this vehicle also. The engine has 300 horsepower and will never let you down. I bought this truck 2nd hand from a friend. I plan to purchase another vehicle like this when the time comes. If you are like me and hope to get the most mileage out of you vehicles, I would check out the Chevy 1500
