This truck has held up well over the last few year. I purchased it used after it was used as a rental for about a year. It had a few dings, but I got it for a great price and was able to fix up the dings for less that it would cost to buy another used one. It currently has 60K miles and hasn't had to have anything major replaced at all. All I have done is change the break pads and other routine maintenance. The car still drives as good as the day I brought it home and works well. It has a long bed and 4wd which has held up good so far. It comes in handy when you have to move various things from lumber to furniture. The bed came with a plastic drop in bed liner that can be removed to be cleaned or can be removed and replaced with a roll on bed liner that I personally prefer, but have no... (more)
Story
Flying down a back road. Getting a ticket. Hauling lumber. Moving. Going to the store. Hauling multiple Christmas trees. Buying gravel. Hauling tools. Camping in it.
Pros
Dependable 4WD. It works great in the winter and in slippery conditions. It has a long bed that works great for hauling most anything. V8 has a good bit of power. Power windows and cruise control. The bumper is very strong. Steel bed is strong and will not pierce like the F150's now. Relatively smooth ride. It has good enough acceleration. The wheel is comfortable. It has a lot of cup holders in the front (5). It has an AUX cord for music players and phones. Good safety reviews, doors are sturdy, and tailgate is not light and flimsy like Rams.
Cons
The 4WD is an electric knob so it's more prone to failure, but it is common these days. The drop in bed liner does not prevent corrosion underneath. Slippage does occur when in RWD. The turn radius is similar to a bus. It has the same interior as earlier models. It did not come with a hitch. It only has two car charger outlets. No USB spots or chargers. No smart device technology. Somewhat outdated radio. Minimal extra feature, no frills. No standard back up camera. No standard back up sensor. No standard blind spot indicator. Backup can be hard to see in the dark .

Overall, the vehicle is a very reliable truck. The main turn in is the towing capacity and ability to pull virtually any load and feel how smooth of a ride it is. The gas mileage is far more superior than my friends Ford F-150 with a V-8. I get an average of 18-19 miles per gallon highway while the F-150 gets 15-16 miles per gallon. The interior is very roomy for a quad cab and can fit my family of four in it with kids booster seats in the back and still have plenty of room. The center console has tons of storage space with a lockable storage area just below the center console seat which is great for storing personal items. The auto four-wheel drive lock is a great feature for when you encounter snow or mud and cannot change gears in the middle of the drive as long as the vehicle ... (more)
Story
Taking it out into the mud pits and seeing Fords get stuck every time!!! I took the truck cross country five times now and use it for my everyday work truck, and the most I've ever had to is replace the spark plug and ignition coil which took me a total of 10 minutes. The same job on my other vehicle took a special tool and almost three hours to replace just one of the coils and plugs, so t... (more)
Pros
Best part is the outstanding gas mileage. The bed has a ton of room. I recently moved a two-bedroom fully furnished house in just two trips. Roomy cab, easy, and cheap maintenance costs.
Cons
Steering wheel wears, radio does not have great quality sound, and truck rear end is light.
