The Silverado is one of my favorite cars. Aesthetically pleasing, drives smooth, and the sound system is great. There are inputs for iPods and aux cords and it plays CDs. As a frequent podcast listener, this is great. I enjoy the power steering, steering wheel audio controls, power seats, and power mirrors. Driving this is like controlling a space ship. Its a beast of a truck but a very, very comfortable ride.
Story
We drove through the Arizona desert and this car seized the day. No bumps or dead batteries. Beast of a truck.
Pros
The truck drives very smoothly and there have been no problems with steering or braking in 5 years. I enjoy the OnStar feature for navigation that is up-to-date and easy to read when drive. The navigation is also audible, making it hard to miss a turn or stop, as it lowers your music to make sure you hear it. I also enjoy the many A/C and heating features. The power steering and power seats are also nice after a long day. My favorite feature has to be the steering wheel radio controls. They allow you to turn up the volume, change stations, etc. Without getting distracted. There is also a l... (more)
Cons
There are some electronic problems with the radio. When you sometimes plug in an iPod, the audio skips and turns on/off for 10 minutes. I have had some issues with the A/C in the past as well as the battery. Outside of those, there are no real issues with the car.

The 2011 Silverado introduces slightly bolder front end styling than previous years. It maintains traditional bulb headlights which I prefer to cold, unfeeling LEDs. The interior is roomy enough for my 280 pound, 6'2" frame and the cloth seats are always pleasant, comfortable and preferable to vinyl or leather. The 4.8 liter engine, while small for a V-8, produces plenty of power while providing decent fuel economy for a full-size pickup truck. The extend cab model, which I own, features great passenger room in the back and can be described as a couch on wheels. Overall there are many convenient storage areas including door pockets front and rear, seat pockets for rear seat passengers and under seat storage in the rear. Plus it has a six foot bed which is a great size for hauling plent... (more)
Story
Went fishing with a few friends who had a hard time getting out of the spot we were in even with 4WD engaged. I got out of the same place with no issues at all.
Pros
On the fly 4WD, smart features like automatic on/off of lights when light/dark, radio stays on with vehicle off until driver's door is opened.
Cons
Don't care for the rims. Not a fan of the dark blue color but the truck was a great buy.
