My vehicle is a 2001 Chevy Suburban. It has a V8 engine. The second row of seats folds down and the third row pulls out completely. It is rugged and able to drive over rough terrain. I enjoy camping in it.
Story
We took our car to a camping festival and slept in it with an A/C propped in the window. Another guy was there with the exact same make/model doing the same thing. We parked the cars nose to nose and took a picture.
Pros
I like that the A/C works really well in it. I also like that if you take out the seats you can lay down in it completely. It turns it into a sort of camper. We like to take it to festivals and prop an A/C unit in the side to keep it cool. I like the bench seat in the front as well. The car has over 200,000 miles on it and just seems to keep running. We like to take it on long trips to save money on hotels. I like that you can control the rear A/C vents from the back row. I also like the storage under the seats and in the back trunk area.
Cons
I don't like the gas mileage. It only gets about eighteen miles per gallon. I also don't like that it is really big and hard to park occasionally. The windshield is hard to clean for me because I am short. I also don't like that the washer fluid container broke. I now have to clean the windows by hand if anything gets on them.

The Chevrolet Suburban is reliable and safe. It always starts, runs smoothly, and handles well. Mine has a steel bumper that has been hit twice, with no detriment whatsoever to my vehicle, although it did dent the offending vehicles. The doors feel heavy, which I appreciate, as I think they will keep my kids safe in the even of an accident. Overall, I rate my Suburban very highly.
Pros
This is the roomiest vehicle I have ever owned. I can fit several full sheets of plywood, 8' x 4', along with a stack of 2x 4's and ten gallons of paint, without even laying the seats down. I once hauled a whole set of living room furniture in the suburban. The seats are very easy to put down when you need to. I have hauled small livestock, feed, and a whole neighborhood of children. The dedicated cargo area behind the last seat could fit half a cord of wood.
Cons
The suburban lacks somewhat in acceleration and braking, compared to a smaller vehicle, but compared to the vehicles its size, it handles like a dream. It's size contributes to its less than stellar gas mileage, but that is also to be expected. Besides the fuel cost, it is very inexpensive to drive, since it seldom needs repairs.
