This was a good purchase as he cars interior and exterior were in good shape. its a great looking vehicle and it meets our family of 5 that always has sports, outdoors and lots of friends in it. The seating is perfect, it does not always have the most room in the way back for items, but you can always fold the seats down and use the back row or just put stuff in the back row if necessary.
Story
Don't really have any great stories, just has been a great bunch of fun taking the sports teams back and forth to all of the tournaments, lots of laughter.
Pros
Again, it's great for a large family on the go, fits everything that we need. The seats are leather, and for the most part very comfortable. At the time that we looked at these, the prices to lease or buy a 2017 Suburban were outrageous. It's just ridiculous the amount they were asking to pay each month so we thought that purchasing a used one was the way to go. The interior and exterior colors are great, very pretty vehicle. Everything was in great shape and it seemed like a great deal.
Cons
The most negative thing is that even thought it was in great shape, something went wrong within the first year with some major parts that we were not aware of and we wound up paying $3500 right out of pocket on top of the already expensive payment. A year into this buy things also started to break like the door handles and the knobs on the inside. Quickly rust also started to appear on it. We are now thinking of getting a new care, but its not even worth what we owe on it yet. I am not sure with the needed repairs and maintenance that the used cars are worth it anymore.

After 10 years of getting from here to there with 4 kids and all of their stuff in our trusty minivan, we moved to our Suburban. It is such a great option for active families to get where they need to go and bring lots of stuff with them. My boys are in sports and it is so easy to throw everything in the trunk and pile all of the kids in the Suburban.
Story
My husband has the best Suburban experience so far. He got to slip it into 4 wheel drive on a guys' weekend with his friends and easily transversed streams and backwoods trails. He loved it!
Pros
Our Suburban has a lot of "umph" (that's the technical term) for its size. Even though it is big enough to carry 8 people and a lot of gear, I don't ever worry when I'm turning into traffic that I won't be able to get up to speed fast enough. The audio system is great. We have a factory installed DVD system and wireless headsets that the kids can use to control their own music on long trips.
Cons
Price. Our Suburban was not cheap. Even though we bought it as a used car 2 years past its release date, it was still the most expensive can that we have even owned. Gas mileage. It also is expensive to drive. If you are a commuter or have a smaller family, a minivan is a great alternative.
