I love our suburban. There is plenty of room in the vehicle plus enough trunk space. We have 5 children and they are active in extra curricular activities. There is enough room for us plus their equipment and enough space to put some toys for the younger two to play with. The vehicle has over 100,000 miles and is still running strong. I feel very comfortable driving this car no matter the road conditions. It gets better fuel mileage than the minivan we had prior to owning this car. It is also a flex fuel vehicle so I like the option to run that fuel.
Story
We were able to get all the children plus the grandparents in the vehicle and go out for ice cream.
Pros
Flex fuel plenty of space retains value power
Cons
Would add a little more leg room in the third row. The price of a brand new one is very expensive. Design of the heater on back window, the cord comes off easily when opening the window. V8 mode when idling

2007 Chevrolet Suburban - My car is rugged and spacious, with plenty of room for the family.

I like the interior space for sure. The driver's seat has plenty of room to relax while driving, which is great for me because I do a lot of driving. However, one of the things that really sold me on the car is that every seat in the whole car has enough space around it. I've sat in each seat in that car, and never felt claustrophobic or cramped. Another thing I really like is the capabilities of the vehicle. I got the 4-wheel drive version, and there have been a couple of times I've gotten stuck in mud or sand, and when I switch to 4-wheel drive, I'm able to navigate out of it. I also have a built-in entertainment system that shows movies in the back for the passengers, and when you're in park, it actually shows up on the front display as well. Kind of a cool little bonus feature. The... (more)
Story
Well, we were at the beach in Port Aransas, Texas, and we parked in some sand. When we got in the car to leave, the car got stuck in the sand. For a second, the wheels were just spinning and getting more stuck. Then I switched on 4-wheel drive and immediately I was able to pull out of the sand.
Pros
Interior cabin space, comfortability of the seats, luggage room, rear-view camera, entertainment system, 4-wheel drive, durability, powerful engine, excellent road visibility.
Cons
Bad MPG's, some cracking of the plastic dashboard in the heat, driver's seat shows bad wear.
