Made for family
Our vehicle has 150,000 miles. I would say it has to be the best large family vehicle on the market. With several young children the interior has room for several car or booster seats. The leather seats are easily cleaned and extra durable. There is storage behind the seats as well as several cup holders. One of the best aspects is the extra cargo room behind the third row. There's plenty of space for bikes, groceries or luggage for travel. The engine runs smoothly with no issues. Our v8 has plenty of power. Perhaps one thing I wish our suburban had is pop out windows to help airflow in the rear. It would also be nice if our version had a cd changer and did player. But that was a purchase choice, not a design flaw.

Luxury for the "Mom Taxi" !
I purchased this vehicle new in 2006. It is the second Suburban I have owned. It is an overall perfect car for a mother of four. I purchased the bench seat version, which will sit 9 people. I love that when you are driving on the freeway, you are high enough to see over other smaller cars and able to see several car lengths in front of you. It is a very heavy car, making it seem much safer in case of an accident. It does have, however, one small blind spot on the driver's side. Other than routine maintenance, we have never had any mechanical problems with the car. The rear cargo area is very roomy-able to fit three large dogs, or approximately 8 large pieces of luggage. It did originally come with OnStar as well. It also has the radio and phone controls on the steering wheel, which is very convenient. We have over 150,000 miles on the vehicle and it still runs very well. Has good power when accelerating to get on the freeway. Brakes do not wear out quickly.
