Roomy and Dependable
I had this truck for a few years during college in the northeast where the winters can get harsh. Maneuverability in the snow was important, so I decided to get an inexpensive '95 Tahoe. I enjoyed the all-wheel drive when snow and ice was on the ground, as that provided additional confidence while driving. I also liked the interior space that was provided. Being able to pack most of my stuff in the Tahoe when moving from dorm to dorm each year was great. Reliability was also very good. I had no mechanical or electrical issues outside of normal maintenance upkeep. The only major downfall for the Tahoe was fuel economy. I only got around 8-10 miles per gallon, so I really had to debate whether I really NEEDED to drive or not. Sometimes I would just catch a ride with a friend if we were going to the same place. In the end though, the Tahoe was a very dependable vehicle that was low-maintenance and inexpensive.

The Chevy Tahoe is a Fun, Solid Ride
We purchased our 1995 Chevy Tahoe from a used car dealer about three years ago. We wanted a solid 4-wheel-drive vehicle for driving up in the hills in the backwoods of Oregon. From the beginning we loved the smooth ride, the substantial weight, and the roominess of our Tahoe. With three growing children who were teen or pre-teen, we needed that room! As the father of this group, I'm a typical man who enjoys lots of power in my vehicle. The Tahoe fulfilled my expectations, with plenty of get-up-and-go to handle whatever we've encountered. It barely feels it when a trailer is attached. Overall we have been very pleased with the quality, roominess, and power of our 20-year-old Chevy Tahoe.
