As a shorter person one think I like is how there are side boards that allow me to easily get up into the truck. Overall the truck is pretty amazing. Have only had a few minor issues that have all been relatively easy fixes when it comes to maintenance of the overall truck.
Story
My fiancé and I were moving to our new house and it made it so much easier because it was big enough to not need a truck to do so.
Pros
I like that in there are the sideboards that make for it easier to get up into the truck. It does really well in both the snow and heavy rain waters. And I have also noticed a lot of people take less chances when it comes to turning out in front of us. Also, cops are less likely to profile me for being a younger person in the older truck because they don't assume I am going to be doing anything bad. Or they don't assume I am going to be out drag racing in a 1997 Chevy Tahoe.
Cons
The weight class of the vehicle makes it hard to park on regular street parking spaces. As a result of this I have gotten 2 parking tickets for parking where no trucks or commercial vehicles could park because I wasn't aware originally of the difference it weight class. There is also the fact that I was used to driving a smaller vehicle so it is odd to go from driving a smaller vehicle to one you almost need a step ladder in order to get into.

My truck is a 1997 two-door Tahoe, which makes it much shorter than the regular four-door Tahoe. It's a great truck so far! I have only been driving it for about two months now. I bought it with no motor, so I had to put one in. But since putting the motor in, I have had no mechanical issues nor have I had any electronic issues. It has a very good turning radius compared to the Suburban. The fact that it is shorter than a normal Tahoe, makes it much easier to fit in smaller parking spaces. It is also much more easily maneuverable than the four-door Tahoe and the Suburban, which is a plus! I have had no interior rattles until I started taking things apart to put a stereo in. The door handles seem to break easily though. And I believe there was a recall on this model for the pa... (more)
Story
Since I haven't been driving this truck long, the funniest thing I can say about my truck are the looks and the questions people have when I pull up and I jump out of the truck! The door handles are above my head, so people see me jump out and they just look and ask how I get in the truck!!
Pros
My favorite thing about my truck is that it is lifted!! It feels great knowing that I can just run whatever I want over! The power everything is great! Power seats, door locks, windows, and rear hatch makes things much easier!
Cons
Unfortunately, now that I'm getting older, the two door isn't as fun as it used to be! It's hard to get in and out of the back seat with the two-door model!! Because it is lifted so high, I can't open the back of the truck because I am very short! So, that makes things difficult.
