The Chevy Tahoe is by far the best SUV I've owned. This is my third Tahoe. It has a great body and was taken care of well. The interior is, by far, my most enjoyable features. Wide comfortable captains chairs in front. AM/FM stereo with speakers you can turn off in the front seats and leave on in the back. So when the girls want to hear the Barbie song again, you don't have to. Second row seating large enough for even three adults to sit comfortably. Now they come with third row seating which I strongly suggest you get. This one didn't have the third row, and it's the only con I have with it. The four-wheel drive is great for not getting stuck in the snow. Or we live in Georgia so no getting stuck in the mud either. The engine is strong enough to handle towing a trailer with the boat... Story
We live in rural South Georgia, so we have many dirt roads. When it rains, and it does here a lot, the dirt roads are like driving on ice. Not only do we not have a problem getting to town for whatever we need, but once it starts raining, I sit on my porch with two towels, my cordless phone, two bottles of water, and wait. In no time, someone will come up to our house and say they're stuck or ... (more)
Pros
I love the child locks on the windows and doors. The stereo speakers can be turned off from the front and left on in the back. Spacious comfortable seating. Plenty of room for the whole family. Great for shopping with easy hatchback opening.
Cons
My only con was not getting third row seating.

The Chevrolet Tahoe I bought in 2009 is still going strong as ever now. It is a great, dependable, and reliable truck. I have put close to 200,000 miles on it already with only regular oil changes, brakes, and a battery. While she is starting to show the wear from age, it will simply be a few dollars to replace some transistors and fuses. The room it gives me with the removable seating is unmatched anywhere. Always room! I love this truck and the fact that it is still going strong and nothing major has happened to it. The television that drops down from the roof for the people who sit in back still works great, as does the DVD player. It has a stereo up front and a separate one in the rear. It even came with wireless headphones for people to listen to their own preference. It also has ... (more)
Story
We use it all the time as a camper to go to the lake to fish. We remove all the rear seats and put sleeping bags down, coolers and all our stuff and there is plenty of room.
Pros
The seating capacity Removable seats DVD player and tv 2 radios Reliability Durability Dependability
Cons
Gas mileage Size Cost of parts is high Interior wearing faster
