I have a dark green 2002 Chevy Tahoe and I love it. It is lifted and has Toyo All Terrain tires. I have had a few problems with it including needing new brakes, wheel hub assembly and cv joints. Overall I am very happy with this Tahoe. It has a v8 engine and I really enjoy being able to get up and go rather than slowly going faster. It is very dependable and perfect for my family so I will never get rid of it. I enjoy riding in it more than any other SUV as it rides smooth like a car.
Story
The most memorable is driving in the snow. It is very dependable and I did not slip and slide like I do in my car. While driving in the snow, I felt very safe.
Pros
One of the pros I enjoy the most about my Tahoe is being able to help family or friends move when needed. I am able to take out all the backseats, which it has two sets that are removable, and fit a lot more than a truck would. It has very nice brand new Toyo All Terrain tires. It also has a roof rack which made it very helpful when carrying snowboards while being able to have all my friends inside. The heated leather seats are great during the winter and even having leather seats in summer is perfect as well since it doesn't get too hot here. I love that it has an auxiliary plug in it as ... Cons
The first thing I noticed when I got the Tahoe was there was an issue with the wiring for the stereo lights. Another con is the door lock, I cannot lock the passenger door unless I do it manually. It also takes more oil than my car therefore making the maintenance a little more expensive.

This vehicle had the best overall performance of any others I have previously owned. It was consistently dependable over the longest period of time that I have remained in possession of the same vehicle, it required little maintenance and it rode just as well during my first year of ownership as it did in my last.
Story
This is such a common vehicle in my area, as well as many other areas (overall commonality), so the most unique thing about mine was probably the color (although, in hunter green, this wasn't particularly unique either). Yet I always had people stopping me while out and about & offering to buy my Tahoe for cash!
Pros
Of the little maintenance required on this vehicle, it was all very inexpensive compared to others I have owned. Parts were cheap and easy to locate, and much of the work was easily done by my husband as opposed to being forced to pay tons in labor fees due to some electrical or computerized system that requires professional attention. Of the standard included features, I most enjoyed the convenience of removable third row seating and the automatic opening back hatch. Cons
The only negative thing that I have to report about this vehicle is that it consumed a lot of gas, but such is typical of an SUV this size so this issue was to be expected.
